There is a specific requirement regarding PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS for PR card that:
"Be on Photographic paper that has a backing which accepts and retains the date. Photos without this backing are not acceptable."
Further it quotes that:
"bear the date the photo was taken(not the date the photo was printed) directly on the back of one print (stick-on labels are not acceptable).

These are additional specific docs that they will need to validate for next step of processing. Marriage certificate attested; original police certificate and original education transcripts in sealed cover from university are essential. Your ecas status will turn to IP (if not already) when they receive the docs.

btw rashma . The VO assumed you are married to a uae national ?

We had actually already sent most of these documents, so that's why its confusing...he sent the email requesting police certificates the same week they expired! I am not married to a U.A.E. national, but we are both residents..Thanks for your reply!

Did you get medical request along with this? Do you have kids by the way? I don't think they would ask if you had kids as their birth certs should be enough?

We haven't received MR as yet. We are married without children.

this nothing to be worried about. they r asking coz the visa officer is not satisfied with the papers u submitted along with the application. and u have to submit all the documents requested. after submission they will start processing ur application.

Thank you so much! Was getting a bit worried as it looks as if we are behind all other May applicants who are receiving MRs and PPRs.

don't worry, I'm also 8th of May 2014 applicant and still waiting for MR...

think about it positively at least they requested some additional documents rather than rejecting your case.

After a week from my medical, 3rd line has been added in my ECAS - Medical results have been received.

Hurray! Next step is PPR1? Any idea how long is the waiting time?

My friend has a question and I hope some of the experts on this thread can help him. Here's the situation.

He's applying for FSW2014. Currently, he is in Dammam (KSA). He worked before in Sudan and his home country is Vietnam. If I/we understand it correctly, he needs 3 PCCs - Sudan, KSA, and Vietnam. Correct? If yes, how can he get PCC from Sudan? Is it possible to get a PCC from a country even you're not there anymore? It's not possible for him to go back to Sudan.

I think he can go to Sudani embassy and ask them.. Seniors can provide some more information on it..
