Sir

No doctor will go for x-ray for a pregnant women , even if pregnancy is one week old. This is due to the safety of new comer
WHO prohibits this

Stay Blessed
Dear msaeed
If x-ray is not possible due to pregnancy, what is the solution? in that case does the visa office continue processing application for other members than pregnant women or they pause the whole application.

It seems like it is possible with some elevations, itself the DMP manual says this. Found some interesting comments n links go through with them.

" I have done my Medical on 14th of Nov

My wife is 24 week pregnant....

IOM offer us 3 different options regarding my wife pregnancy

1. we can do X-rays with protective shield now
2. we can do all the tests apart from X-ray which can done after delivery or
3. last month of pregnancy (which is totally safe as they told us).

we have chosen 2nd option

they gave us a letter that i have to send CHC London and they kept photo copy of that letter and they will send that photo copy to India but they will not send my wife's other test reports (blood and urine) to CHC, they will keep those reports and will send altogether later with X-rays after the delivery.

hope it will clear you all the points at this stage '

Congrats and good luck to all who got visas. Looks like LVO is now trying to catch up with backlogs.

Dear nkalra,

So if I go for the 2nd option, how long do you think my processing will be extended by after delivery? For instance my wife will be giving birth in october and she will probably do the x-ray in november. so give or take how many months delay should we be looking at.

#Brosniski,

I would say with those time lines, you should expect PPR within few days after your 3rd line (Mr Done). As by the time your S/C checks would have been done in the back ground. So just the matter of getting medicals done.

So once you have 3rd line- within few days expect PPR- after that approximately within 4 weeks stamping should be done.

All the best.
