no updates from my side. i just got aacknowledegemt that my docs have been received and i raised 2 cseS, ONE IN MARCH and one in may and in both it says that my file is undergoing background checks... etc..

Rawdah dear, nothing so far. I think after processing started & sending updated forms, generally it is taking 4 months. Right? or do we have any early examples?

Status is same. In reply to documents submitted they replied that lengthy background checks are now in process.

Which indicates lengthy silence from them in future

Nothing yet. Last time i heard from LVO, my background was being cleared... digging up fossils of my ancestors ..will take some time!

Same with me. They are awaiting for the completion of bg checks.

Hopefully we will all get MR after the routine completion of bg checks and then shortly after the completion of Medicals we will get PPR.

Wish the bg checks ends soon.

Some applicants got RPRF request while some got RPRF + Schedule A....Till now, we dont know why this is happening...is it random or as per their process...but why not same for all... As per my analysis if application is older than 1 year, they requested both RPRF and Sch A but if application is still within 1 year then only RPRF...

JANUARY MR Batch without RPRF

- Farhan – RPRF + Sch A on 13 May (Requested after 1 year of application)
- Maria – Only RPRF on 13 May (Requested within 1 year of application)
- Zahmd - RPRF + Sch A on 13 May (Requested after 1 year of application)
- i-Man - RPRF + Sch A on 20 May (Requested after 1 year of application)
- SA2263 – Only RPRF on 13 May (Requested within 1 year of application)

"Please be advised that your file remains in a queue, awaiting review.

good compilation JB and Sch A mystery is clear now. i think v all belong to same CO and get replies from vcm..is it so?
our CO decided to have our meds done before starting Security checks. initially it was a WOW but now im thinking we lost like 5 months time for landing...lolz!

I think request for updated schedule A form depends on vo and not necessarily based only on applications received after 1 year. It may also be a combination of both. There may or may not be changes regarding applicants information within or after this timeframe. I have seen an applicant who was asked to submit updated schedule A form + RPRF within 6 months of initial application by LVO.
Stranger Friendly, a forum member, received request for updated schedule A within 1 year of application.
