guys really happy here, just received our DM today from LVO, after 4 1/2 months of waiting from the time LVO received our papers.... now I'm just waiting to receive back our passport with the visas and CoPR....

Of course they work based on SOP manual.
But quite a few times they have their own protocols eg. almost all the VO's sends AOR, where as LVO is the exception.

My nephew , aged 8 was detained at New York Airport for 11 hours , as his name was stuck in system on pretext of "Security Clearance"

Entire immigration staff was helpless , as their almighty "Human Designed System" said , he must be scrutinized . American Immigration Staff , one of the most reasonable staff I have ever come across - permitted my sister to stay with her kid , and entire family was waiting outside in corridor waiting for kid to come out .

They are rulers of Planet Earth , and knows how to check Employment of an applicant , there are multiple ways to do so , FBR Portal , EOBIO Portal , Your Salary and Saving Bank Account Portal , Your Credit card Portal etc - (In Pakistan)
In UAE its even simpler - Your Employment Visa Portal

PCC verification takes 20 Days , ex-SP security Lahore , was my class mate (School Fellow , in same bath of St Anthonys High Lahore) - He showed he how they verify all this stuff - A general mail comes on daily basis from diplomatic enclave , Islamabad with list of all PCC issued by Lahore Police ( the one I have seen) , and SP security verifies them in writing with his signatures that these were issued by him
