I got following reply from LVO for my CSE that "We are waiting for some checks to be completed"... Are these the BG Security checks? Right?

Is it specifically addressed to you, or Just a general reply.

i got the same reply from VCM today in reply to my CSE I sent yesterday!!!
"Please be advised that your application is currently awaiting review by an immigration officer. We will be in contact with further information once this review has taken place."

Oh!! iMan, After Medical this reply is strange!!

Whether your 3rd line updated on ECAS or Not? When?

Is it that CSE being replied without checking the each case? Is the reply says "Dear Sir/Madam" or at least your name?

Are you aware of any case where person has faced problem because of using pen instead of pencil. Confused as its no where mentioned on UK cic website.

DIB have connection in canadian Bank and money will be deducted from ur account at the same time when Bank will Issue Draft. Also write ur file no. with pencil not pen on back side of draft and send with attention to ur program assistant.
remember and do not forget to write file no. with pen. also keep one copy of demand draft with u.

Don't be confused. U can choose to write on the back of your draft with pen or pencil. I don't see any issues here. In fact, pencil can easily be erased.The important aspect is not to forget to write ur details. My initial application fee to CIO was DD and I wrote my name with pen.

EFL ,LBM, etic. u always got replies from similar initials so if u send with attention it becomes easy to reach to ur vo. but u can also send directly on given address.

Thanks bhai....my brother in Canada also says tht dont worry too much. It is general reply from lvo as they want to keep thr reply short....

VCM is shudh clerck.
In June 2012 he responded to my email that they will intimate me about decision by Aug 31,2012
In September 2012 , in response to my CSE , he responded that LVO has never received my file , and I must contact NS office
In October 2012 (after 10 days) he responded that my file is waiting review

Seems to be "Sifarshi"
Do not trust him

Your BG security checks must have been completed and VCM must have received the CSIS report and finally your file is in queue for PPR issuance - see it this way. Don't get confused.....InshaAllah you'll be getting PPR soon.

Right after my medicals I wrote LVO via CSE asking to let me know the progress of my case. VCM replied (BTW I also got the response from VCM) that "at this point in time, routine background checks are running and we are waiting for the results to be received" - I also shared his / her reply in the forum. In his / her reply, by using word "results to be received" it is apparent that LVO is waiting the results to be received from some other party / authority.

Hi Maria, I can't think of a better explanation than what Farhan wrote, or you can say I would like to think so. All I'm hoping for is to have this process finished soon so I can plan for landing in August.
