Yes, he appears to be May applicant and from the tone of the email response he received from LVO, it seems we have the same visa officer reviewing our applications. I got same response from my visa officer following CSE I raised in December, 2013. I have asked him to confirm his visa officer.

signature he received via email from LVO was
Signature is as followS:

Program Assistant/Adjoint de programme
Immigration Section/Service d'immigration

High Commission of Canada/Haut-commisariat du Canada

38 Grosvenor Street

London W1K 4AA/Londres W1K 4AA

United Kingdom/Royaume-Uni

Government of Canada/Gouvernement du Canada

There should be an initial on top of "program Assistant", and its not there.

I had sent a few docs to LVO which were requested and asked acknowledgement as well. It's been a week since, i haven't got any reply. The reason i am worried because one member in Pakistani application thread reported, he sent his PPR1 and was relaxed , upon inquiry he was replied we have not received your documents.

Suggest please.

You could wait for another 2 weeks and if no response, "shoot" them another CSE. Usually, following CSE, you get automated response that emails are responded to in 28 days.

Hello Friends

Need your urgent help regarding PCC from UK. I need to apply now for PCC urgently as I don't have one and they have asked for it in interview letter.

I've gone thru instructions at website, but didn't get one point regarding endorsing your photograph by someone.

There is a list of occupations of person who can endorse it like Councillor, Accountant, Pilot, Doctor, Magistrate, Pharmacist etc.

But who will be easily accessible? And are they even charge for the same?

Other UK applicants who has already applied for it can help easily. Please reply soon as I'm planning to apply it today or tomorrow.

Don't worry. The documents are there, but sometimes it takes longer to allocate them.

The requirement is that the person who will endorse the back of your photograph as well as reference you MUST have known you for 2 years at least. There was no mention that they could be approached for a fee, and I don't know if any of them will be willing to do that for a fee. You could approach anyone in that category who have known you for at least 2 years where you currently reside (if not in the UK) and have them sign for you. This is my advise.

Hi Hila01,

Thanks for the reply.

That is the exact problem with me as I've only been in UK from 11 months. So there is no person in UK who knows me from last two years. And as they have asked for the person cannot be family member.

An alternative would be to send your form and pix to your home country, have them signed by someone in that category and send back to you in the UK immediately. You still have until March to get the PCC ready when you attend your interview and you can process UK PCC (Premium) for £85 within 4 days as soon as you get your signed pix and documents back.

I suggest you give them a call or drop them an email to see what they recommend. A few months back I asked a question about renewing a certificate (you can't do it, you have to reapply) and they were quite quick at responding.

I agree with you hila01, best is to send home and have it signed and then do the 4 day service.

I second that,
if no one is ready to endorse here in UK,then best bet is to send it back to India via courier and ask them to send it back to you via courier again.

For me,
I have asked for my Indian PCC dated in somewhere march and to be sent to me, and then for my spouse PCC, i am gonna apply at the end of feb. Though I dont need to send her docs to India for endorsing as I know many ppl here in UK. I have already ordered PCC for India which I should get it within days.

But act fast.
