Today I emailed IOM Lahore for medicals and got time for 1 sept 2014 which is quite far away than my expectations.
Is this normal?

Call them, they usually give late appointments through Email,

Call early in morning, otherwise it will be busy for the whole day,

like 8:00 clock..and do some bahana, that i moving some where..i need early appointment

No doubt. Karachi Karachi hai yaaar.. If the security issues are resolved and proper measures are taken in this regard then I am sure there is no city in this continent to compete Karachi for the food. Bombay Karahi made on coal in Hussainabad is the finest mutton karahi you have ever tasted. Kolachi is one of the bestest restaurants for sure with their best sea food specially snapper fish, jumbo prawns, lemon buttor fish pasta and other bbq items. Then the fruit chat of Pakistan fruit chat. I mean if I have to write about the food of Karachi, I can write and talk about it for days well, we all are moving for better perspectives and a good future. Allah may help us all as we all.. If you guys gather in Khi anytime, I would love to join you guys. Missing to come to this forum for a day and I feel like missing whole family fun for a day. I wish we continue to be in contact in Canada as well. As Saeed Bhai said, no one remains in contact, that's been a fact for sure but not true in every case. Many of us will remain in contact and many will get busy and move forward with their own lives. Wish you all best of luck..!! Allah bless you all!

its so odd to put a resign though ??? we apply in so many places, finally get a job of our choice, learn/work hard/struggle to make a place, get a promotion 8) , develop good ambience, compete with others, and finally v have to leave the place...n go jobless...n move to savings..

khr...yeh toh hona hi tha...(all of us who applied were eager to do so and R eager )
and as the brother of saint maria says....Resign with Faith ;D 8)

Every one who has pass through this step , trust me this is very difficult .Each one of us has struggled , put in his best to achieve current positions ,and built profile – that will be launching pad in Canada – Insha Allah .

Last month my senior of ICMA , has resigned as CFO , AES Nigeria and Cameroon , and has landed in Toronto - He too is worried about his savings !!!!!!

My elder sister is a brave lady , single parent , consumed her all funds that she carried with her in 08 months , and then started from scratch . She is not worried and says that , She is responsibility of Allah , He has blessed her in past and will be doing so , as due to change of physical places , Allah does not change !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today our Admn & HR manager has forwarded me my proposed travelling plan for 2015 , and requires me to comment and recommend this for further approval from BOD , and has also requested me to inform me color of my new company car , Altis / Civic , that is due to be replaced in November 2014 , as company intends to move ahead with its CIR approval / booking / leasing formalities etc.

I have advised my secretary to file all these , as I will be discussing this with CEO personally , along with travelling plans and business plan / budget for 2015 in BOD meeting scheduled for October 03 ,2014. Lets hope that my current assignment will be over , and I may resign with style.

The problem is my agent currently in his in Canada for his annual vacation and will not be back to UAE before next week, however, he has promised that he'll be checking his inbox on daily basis and will be forwarding me any updates once he receives, anyway, I've sent him an email asking him if he received any update and seeking his advice.
Still worried though
