I think they have stoped asking for interviews becoz since many days no one reported for interview call.but they working surprisingly as some july applicants got second line and may applicants still waiting

I respect your comments but sometimes in life, you don't have to always have or look for proof. It is good to sometimes look at things presented to us by making the right judgement which also includes simple reasoning.

I raised a CSE with LVO yesterday as regards updating my daughters passport numbers and asking about the status of my case since i got PER since October 2013 and here is their reply today

We have updated our system with the new passport details for your daughter.

Your application is currently awaiting review. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to.

You need take no further action at this time.

I might be thinking too much, may be there is nothing significant...........can seniors please confirm whether its normal?

Thank you very much for your response , will get back to you & forum once I receive update from LVO.

Term Deposit Certificate and a letter issued by bank that this could be en-cashed at any time , Cash In Bank etc / Bank Statement /certificate of ending balance all are acceptable to Visa Officers.
On this forum I have seen only two mates posting that Visa Officer has questioned their source of Funds.
Generally Visa Officers do not ask source of funds , mind this we are "Permanent Resident Applicants" , for Visit , Study , Medical etc purposes your transaction history is required.

Proceed without any fear , I wish a blessed / speedy processing , and a successful life ahead

Dear skhzskhz,
I think it is normal to receive email from them, usually if it involves updating your details-change of job, contact address etc. It is nothing really significant. Sometimes, you could receive email directly from your visa officer and he will state "program assistant" under his name without "Immigration and Medcal Services Division". You can't expect your application to be with Immigration and Medical Services Division and undergoing active processing when your application is still awaiting review. For me, until one receives the actual MR, nothing is significant no matter where the email is coming from. Cheers and all the best.

I was just thinking. Your file could be with Immigration and Medical Services Division waiting to be reviewed for MR to be issued. Interestingly, the initial "LBM" that sent the email is the same person that sent MR to a friend of mine last week. Like I said before, nothing significant until you get MR email. Remain positive.

It is very frustrating when we see on other forums that applicants got their passport with Canadian stamp and we are still not sure where our application is and we are still discussing about interviews and possibility or chances of PR. From Last one week, after reviewing different forums, I am seriously thinking to look for other options like Australia or New Zealand. By the time, the options to the other countries will be more and more difficult so why one should sit idle for yearssssss and wait for nothing. If one VO can complete the back ground check than why not LVO??? . I solute to those who are waiting from last 3/4 years.
