Its been 3 months since you have raised CSE and got reply from LBM. My understanding is that visa officer has asked for security & BG checks before proceeding further on your application. It seems that LBM is responsible to forward your info to respective organizations to collect report on your security & BG checks. Once LBM will receive all required reports, she will update your file and will forward to visa officer for his/her review which will be followed up with MR + RPRF In Sha Allah.

Having said that I believe 3 months is quite reasonable period to raise another CSE. I don't see any reason of annoying LBM or your visa officer by raising another CSE after 3 months. I would suggest you to go ahead with raising another CSE. This is my suggestion; rest is your decision.

As per LBM email, file is awaiting officer review. So I am not sure, if they have even opened my file and sent for BG/Security checks yet or yet to do so . She did not gave any hint that BG checks are outstanding. There could be 2 scenarios; either they have not opened my file and yet to be reviewed or they reviewed it and sent for BG Checks. I have not been asked for any updated documents & e-cas showing single line; we have received application on 5th july 2013.

I am single, born and brought up in UAE, and have only travel history to Pakistan. (submitted both countries PCC). I am unable to understand any possible complexity in my case to put it on hold or pushed to long waiting period (kind of...). 13 months gone....Bus Aap sub dua karain

Do not worry at all, it is not necessary that u got document request,i haven't got any request. it depends on the file and the documents that u provide.

Inshallah i believe August will be yours

as per my observation, people are getting ppr before they PER date....So just pray and wait till august

If u dont hear something in august, you have right to raise CSE.

mabmabs dont worry this is only a waiting game. I received exactly the same reply from LBM. Can you or any one tell what do they exactly mean by "This may not be for quite some time yet". ???

@ Luqi...As far as I know, its only you and me who received such email from LBM ("This may not be for quite some time yet") among FSW 2013. I don't know anyone else who received same reply or even this reply from any other visa officer (assistant) apart from LBM. I have not heard any other visa officer sent such patron of email to anyone.

@mish...what exactly was your email content in April 2013 & who is your Visa officer ?

Not sure, what does it mean, my own assumption is, possibly 6 months waiting period.... But I am more optimistic about your case, You were asked for updated documents and your e-cas is - we started processing....) So surely your case in under process & awaiting completeness of security/BG Checks, once it is over it will matter of days to receive MR/RPRF...and of course , followed by quick PPR requests (InshAllah). For my part, I even don't know, if they have started BG checks or not, or did they even opened my file or not.. they need to clean by dust lying on my application file that would require crane machine, as it has been untouched since last 1 year .

Abu Hassan is right. I feel august could be the month, surely for you InshAllah....for me , I don't know..I feel blind, in my case.

Last 2 days or Ramadan................... today (Friday) was Last working day of Ramadan. didn't hear anything as of now. So surely not going to hear anything in Ramadan.

Visa and COPR received today. Thank you all for your great support. It would not be the same without all of you. The journey has been quite interesting to say the least. Thanks for all your guidance. Specially MM2.
I did the online payment and received PPR1 within few hours. They also informed me that if they find my bank draft, they will send it back.
I can understand that things can go wrong, but i think visa officer has been very professional in dealing with this so far and i trust i will continue in future.

I did write my app no and UCI on back of draft and also included a copy of their email in the envelope (as per courier record, the package was received on 28 may)
My online status was updated with medical have been received two weeks ago but i did not get any email, I sent an email to my visa officer 2 days ago asking for status. Today they sent me email saying they cannot locate my draft.

Allhamdulillah, today my ecase changed to decision made. Then in evening my brother collect our passports and COPR from VAC london. Thank you all of you for your help and support, especially Abu hassan and Sachaudhry
