Dear All

I am 21-06-2013 applicant under category 0211 who has received medical request on 26-06-2014.

I live in one of the GCC country and have given correspondence address of my Home town. I have noticed that the address given on the form IMM1017E is of my home town. Can Anyone help me to understand that can me and family can do the medical in GCC even on the form the address is of my Home town.

Besides I sent them supporting documents of my job change and Phone number change in Feb-14. I mailed them twice on the status of update of these documents, but got reply which makes no sense and no confirmation.How ever on the third mail I got below reply on 16-06-2014 as:

Dear Sir,
We have updated your contact telephone number. Please send us any updates and these will be added to your physical file in order to be processed by the immigration officer.
Please see processing times on our website.

AND NOW I HAVE GOT MEDICAL REQUEST WITH OLD PHONE NUMBER. I DON'T KNOW NY JOB CHANGE HAS BEEN UPDATED OR NOT.

Can anyone advise on :

1) Can I do medical in GCC even on medical form address is of my home town
2) How to check my job status has been changes
3) How to check my phone number has been changed

If you just land in Canada, get your PR and go back home, how they will know if any money you transfer afterwards to Canada is from saving prior to your PR or from Global Income?? Or is it they will just depend on your declaration?

Thank you for sharing this master piece information.
How ever please note that there are certain limitations too.

If Canada has "Double Taxation Agreement" with the country where a Canadian PR is generating income , then it is Tax free in Canada , generally Canada has this agreement with almost all UN members countries.

Remitting Left Over Funds :-

If these funds are not remitted through proper banking channels , from home country , then they are Tax free , if remitted through an exchange company in UAE , it is taxed.

From Pakistan this is near to impossible to remit US $ 200,000/- through State Bank Of Pakistan to Canada , how ever I will go to State Bank Of Pakistan , and will try to get their foreign exchange manual

In addition to above , Canadian tax authorities do demand proof of funds ie if there was a property , they do ask for all back documents

Please dig this further more , so that every one can benefit from this

Dude, sending PCC is required but not mandatory with the initial application. Your application will not be refused by CIO Sydney based on this.

When ever it will be forwarded to LVO, they will ask you to provide PCC.

Bottom line if you don't have time to get PCC, as UAE PCC takes2-4 days, Indian PCC from counslate takes 4-6 days, then don't make constraint, send your file, what matters it to get in the CAP, if you are from one of the cold NOC. Take your time.

Once your file reach to LVO, proactively you can send on your own.

2) How to check my job status has been changes- No need to bother yourself, once you send your documents your work is done. They are responsible enough to handle all this they are VO dealing in immigration cases. More over they never acknowledges these types of queries. So better not waist your and their time.
3) How to check my phone number has been changed- No option, same as above, still not satisfied, order GCMS notes.
