secondly, i've now got to pay the first part by Bank Draft. Has anyone in the UK done this and if so who have you used as I can't find any info on my building society's website.

@lusully - Nationwide building society were quick at getting mine. Natwest and Barclays can help too, though HSBC cannot.
You're asking for a foreign currency draft, specifically in Canadian dollars, and should expect it to take 2 to 5 days to acquire this.

I believe this is the second batch picked up by LVO.... This day remind me the day when we were getting updates regarding interview calls.... Similarly, lot of people come up today with second line in their ecas.

I believe LVO has started second batch as 1st batch is almost going to complete.

You can book the appointment, no need of forms for booking appt. and by the time you go to medicals, in couple of day you should get the forms.

Also heard from nkalra(our Forum Knowledge guru, if may say so ) that the hospital will be able to locate your details with MR mail and ids, forms not required.

Although, i would advise u to check with the hospital where u will book the appt.

Actually all decision made happened on Sunday ....some received PPR2 on Friday ........and you would received PPR2 today or tomorrow other wise coming Friday and simple formula when 10 days completed ........after sending PPR1 doc..........

You have to show your packing list as the normal procedures for the first time landed immigrants +
B4 form + photographs of the jewellery carrying with you with their evaluation done from any jeweler (Not an issue if you have original receipts) + the most important you have to show your POF, only the below mentioned are the excepted POF:-

1. Cash
2. DD
3. TC

I am not sure but you can I have read it some where, give me some time will get back to you on this. If I am not wrong I have asked the same question in CIIP session, but those people were not aware of the rule.
