Abu Dhabi Embassy is centrally located Canadian Embassy for countries which are served by LVO and most probably, with more staff and facilities too. Remember that all applicants, invited for interview, are not residing in Abu Dhabi. They are invited from Pakistan, UAE, Saudi and other middle eastern countries.

Sir

I agree with your view point of centralization.
Travelling to UAE is fairly easy , Visa is not an issue
My sister was also called for an interview , we requested for change of venue from UAE to London , as on that particular date she was in UK , and LVO happily did do.

If some one can travel to UK , change request are entertained by LVO

Stay Blessed

Salam All,
Anybody applied from UAE & Oman got interview call in Abu Dhabi so far?
Two applicants from KSA reported to be interviewed.Ratio to conduct interview is getting high than that of MR!

Wa Aleikum Assalam

Syham

Do not worry , interview is simply an Expense / Capital Cost for getting immigration.
Take this easily , and consider this as a trail flight for Canada

Jazak Allah Khair

Stay Blessed - Ameen

London office need to increase their speed for processing fswp 2013 applications-just under 15 applicants have heard from them so far. I guess we have to wait and see what today would offer. The first set of applicants got their MR on the 10th of January 2014 (Friday). We need a repeat of that today. I pray.

Dear All,

I believe number is not 15 it is more than that as many applicants are not on this forums. My consultant have one applicant MR who is not using this forum, he is from karachi but i don't know his NOC.

I know the number may be more than 15 but I am only making reference to forum members as I cannot account for what I don't know.

Al Humdulillah

Finally, I received interview request. They are asking for police Clearance Certificate (PCC). Do we really need to get it now (for which we need to get the request form from Canadian embassy)?

I read elsewhere on the forum that it is required with Medicals.

Seniors, help us please...

Congratulations for the interview call. You need to provide everything as required in the email you got including police clearance certificate. Good luck.

Congratulations. Yes you should get your PCC now as they have asked for it.

As Soundless suggests, it would be helpful to know your NOC & country - and would you mind sharing with us your PER date so that we can keep track whereabouts LVO have got to with interview and MR requests? In fact, you could add yourself to the spreadsheet here:

...the more shared knowledge the better!
Thanks

Thanks sharedknowledge - appreciate the info. You have similar dates to me, perhaps I should be nervous! :)
