Just received an email having a PDF file (4 pager) attached and asking for Clear copies of passport along with updated information chart within 30 days......

I believe, your family passports weren't carrying any visa therefore, it is totally OK.

Obviously, visa will be stamped on current passports but in certain scenarios, sending old passports becomes critical especially for applicants living abraod. For example, in my case, work/residence permits have been renewed recently and stamped on the new passports while we were having previous work/residence permits on older passports at the time of application. Therefore, I will send both, new and old, passports for all family members, In Sha Allah.

me too. Though I received mr end of april but had a new born in the family. So I asked dxs if I should go ahead with medicals and dxs told me to send processing fee of the new born and updated forms and then do medicals for all family members including the newborn. Our package was received at lvo on 27 may 2014 and now there is absolute silence....so the waiting starts all over again....its so agonizing.

I have done my medicals and police certificates in 60 days time duration but fees payment is going to be about 7 days late , is it going to be a problem ?
i just read a post about a guy whose application got refused because he could not submit medicals , police certificates and payment with in 60 days period ...... .

U have to stick to the 60 days period given by vo. There is the possibility of rejection if this time period is not adhered to unless u have very cogent reason to give to the vo if u are unable to meet up. Vo's have the final say to extend this time period or not.

Inform VO about reasons of delays in complying by their instructions , that are better known to you.

Generally cases at this stage are not rejected
Any how to be on safer side drop them an email today , to get an extension for paying your RPRF

Thank you Canadain High commission do demand all paspsorts in case of Visit Visa , and similarly all embassies , other than US do demand all old passports

Lets see what comes next , normally in Pakistan , CHC Islamabad returns passports with in 15 days

No it has to paid through FDD , one forum mate has paid electronically , and is now suffering its remifications
Drop an email to VO , request extension , and mail them FDD
Only simple solution

NO. Please send them a Demand Draft payable to "The Receiver General For Canada"
