Hi there,
I am new to this forum and would like to share my old case...as if anyone else has the same situation and what is the recent status.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 17, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 16, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 4, 2012.

After this in April 2014 they requested me to send all the forms again with updated information. As then my husband was working in saudi arabia they send me the second email at the end of April 2014 to send his PCC, which was sent and received on 9th May 2014. Since then I have not received any email. What shall I do? Shall I send them email to inquire about my application or just wait. My VO/Representative is MCH.

I can understand your feelings , I would advise you to wait for another 25 -30 days , and then send them an email.
Every visa officer has different attitude , once if gets annoyed , then delays start in case processing

HELP NEEDED.few days back i sent my daughters new passport copy to london office b/c the earlier one was expired and got this email from london office ,

Dearxxx,

This email is in regards to your application for permanent residence to canada.

we recently received the additional documents that you sent to our London office,with regard to your daughter's new
passport details.

However when reviewing your application we notice that your processing fee($1400 CAD banker's cheque) was returned to you by our CIO collegues in canada.in order to continue processing your application,we require the additional documents listed below.

Cost Recovery processing fee- $ 1400 CAD Bank Draft,made payable to ,The Receiver General of canada.

The forms of payment accepted by our office in london are listed on our website.Residents of pakistan: unlike
the visa office in islamabad, we do not accept direct deposit payments to the standard chartered bank, pakistan.

I's just observing that RPRF DD's which got reached to LVO during early days of month (before 06th or 07th of the month), got encashed in 15 to 20 days following receipt -

It is just my observation which may not necessarily be correct.

saeed bhai congrats on ypur ppr1. but ihad received PER Mail on 26th august 2013 in which they also given receipt no. of payment of $1400 CAD, NOW I RECEIVED THIS EMAIL FROM LVO, STRANGE. I SENT THEM MAIL WITH ATTACH PER MAIL, SO WHAT YOU THINK HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THEY GAVE ME PER AND NOW THEY SAY THAT CIO HAD SENT BACK THE DRAFT.

My DD got there on 1 May.

By 26th May it had not been cashed.

No hard and fast rules here.

Just LVO taking its own sweet time.
