Well, along with our RPRF and Medical, we received the same information chart end of July, and it was sent to the consultant. This time I guess it was in response to the CSE that they included both the correspondence addresses.

Cheers

Congratulations.. All the best for next steps....

Is it 9:30 pm local time (Pakistan), mean 4:30 pm London. Did you receive email for Information Chart where you have to fill the personal email and contact details? I guess, this could be the reason of sending you directly.

Alhamdulillah received PPR today. Around 3 and a 1/2 months after medicals done. I raised a CSE inquiring about the status on 9th Nov, and received the PPR email today from BWJ. An interesting observation: I applied through a consultant, so the email address at CIC is that of the consultants, and all previous emails (PER, Medical, RPRF etc) were sent to their address. However, since I've raised CSE thrice from my own email address, this PPR email is sent to both the consultant's address as well as my own. So since I received the email around 9.30 pm local time, the consultant will get to know about it after us :) Hoping for a speedy processing for everyone else here.

Cheers.

Congratulations on your PPR.

I have a question. We will be doing a short landing in July next year inshallah, and thought to visit the US in the same trip as well. You know, since we'd be incurring the cost of travel to north america, might as well visit the US too. However, I have recently come to know, through unofficial sources - friends, relatives etc residing in the US - that once our passports are stamped with a Canadian PR visa, the US consulate is not very open towards granting a visit visa. They think the reason is that to the american embassy, any Canadian applicant ultimately wants to end up in the US ( :-X) so they don't grant a visa till about two years after the Canadian PR, assuming that by this time the new immigrant must be entrenched well in Canada to consider moving elsewhere. I just want to know if that's true. We got to hear about it very recently. We had always thought that once we have the canadian PR visa stamped on our passports, obtaining US visit visa would be easier, so we waited till now. Otherwise we could have applied for american visa months ago. Does anyone have any concrete info regarding this? I'd much appreciate it.

Don't be scared. Every case is different. people have been receiving PPR 10 days after medicals received as well as 6 months after medicals received line. So there's no set pattern. As long as everything with your application is in order, keep faith, it will come soon inshallah. As for PCC, I did send with the original application, however they asked again at the time of medicals.

Cheers

I totally agree with you.. Few people received medical received update after 4-5 days of medicals and few after months. And similarlly, I did not get PCC request, only RPRF, info chart and medicals. This goes case to case basis.

Lol, guys, I don't see why the time is relevant. I only mentioned it in relation to me getting the mail after working hours in Pakistan, which meant I got to know about it before my consultant. That's all :D For all its worth, I received it at 9.18 pm (Pakistan time) and the mail was sent at 1:07 pm (London time). Go figure :)

Cheers

Ok bro managersonline, this one is specially for you.

I did not subscribe to your idea of sending a CSE every few days, but I now definitely believe sending at least one or two may save you trouble at later stages. Take my situation: I got PPR yesterday. The mail was a forwarded one that had originally been sent to the consultant's address on 1st December, and was forwarded to me by CIC on the 2nd December. Talking to my consultant just now, I found out that they haven't received any email. So I checked and the mail CIC had sent to them had spelling errors, which meant the mail bounced back. Which then prompted BWJ to forward it to my own email address. The official email address that CIC has is of the consultant, so the only reason they knew of my email address was through the CSEs that I had raised. So, even if you hire a consultant, be on top of your own case personally, as there are always chances of error and it helps to be your own backup.

Cheers

Hello

Rec GCMS yesterday and according to that. nothing have been started on my file. I don't know what to ask about them.... so many pages (41) with repeated information.... Location PA PUT AWAY, I don't know what does it mean...... Due date was 21-09-2015..... there are so many other dates but a few of them are confusing me...

Client details 1
Created Date: 2014/11/08

what is this created date? my app rec on 24-12-2015. this created date is after the app date in my wife's and son's details.....

an other date 2016/03/21 (exactly one year from file transfer date) is the due date under the Eligibility Assessment 1 heading and under Eligibility Assessment 2 heading its 2016/03/11..... for all other factors the due dates have been passed....

Can anyone please put some light on this?

Good news...

medical results have been received.... :) :) :)

ecas changed today

Congrats on your ecas change :) Well in my case, I had changed my job after applying and informed cic at the time of sending medicals. So I guess background checks for that job might have taken time.
