Dear friends,

I have a question regarding passport request photographs:

PPR email says that write application number and name at the back of photos. Do we need write DOB and address of photo shop and date photo taken at the back of photos? Or for PPR photos that is not required?

Urgent help please,
My spouse passport is expiring in 3 months' time and we are eagerly waiting for MR. Additional documents were requested and sent. I will like to know the implication of the expiring passport on the medical request and other processes?

I would like to suggest to go for passport renewal withing this 3 months.. dont wait for MR.. its uncertain to tell when it will come.. apply passport on urgency basis so you'll get it soon. Anyways you'll have to renew your passport when you'll have to submit those for visa stamping..needs atleast six months valid for visa stamping.. So better to go for passpost renewal asap.

Friends,
By the grace of Allah, we received our passports stamped and COPR. It only took 2 days to send get stamped and receive them! I posted the passports Thursday evening and got them back with visa today morning.
I wish you all the best and pray that those who are still waiting to achieve their dreams very soon.

question please:
Since more than a month, i have been asked to update schedule A, Pay RPRF, PCC from Saudi
all are done except Saudi PCC which I could not get it because I'm x-resident left Saudi long time back, this issue is already explained to LVO.
So far, I didn't receive MR

Any one has an explanation for this please?

Wow! Congrats. I have hope then. DRD requested for additional documents from me in September which i did but i've not heard from Him/her sonce then.

What is the next step. How long it takes to get the MR after providing PCC. Any experience with DRD on this.

We are both on the same page now, I sent all the requested documents going to a month now and i have not heard anything from DRD yet. Let us keep waiting, hopefully he will respond on time.

I was in same situation before few month ago.

I received request to submit new passport copies within 30 days for my wife & daughter from my VO as their passports were expiring before a year.

So I spent too use emergency passport service to get it and submit within 30 days because in my case they requested to submit PCC for me & my wife as the submitted PCC were older than six months.
I think it will happen with you as well when your time comes so I will advise to apply for your wife’s new passport and submit it when you are ask to do it. Or you may raise CSE to know the process to submit the passport copy if you are not getting any communication from CIC before it get expire.

I advice to do what ever asked to do in Email/attachment of the email. please do not provide more or not asked information.

Fyi.. I mention File number and name in my case when i submitted passports and I got my passports back without any issue from London VAC.

Hi,

I think only DRD is asking PCCs before issuing MR/RPRF. All others asking them together. Which is good in a way, as it will allow you more time before visa expiry.

Anyway, in my case DRD took almost 3 months after PCCs to respond with RPRF/ updated info.

I received same email from DRD on 27th Oct...now waiting for the medical email...

Did you get your medical email or not yet?

by god's grace we have received the request for MR, RPRF and updated information mail on 26th October. very very happy as last whole year was too painful to wait. I love you DRD.

now I need to ask as it was written in the email that Medical form will follow the email otherwise we need to contact them back within 2-3 days. its been 2 days and we have taken appointment with the doctor for Saturday but forms has not yet arrived.

can someone tell me is there any other way to complete the medical or any other email address to check the form (as we have sent mail for form but just getting automated response).

Nothing can be sure about LVO I raised CSE in august got a reply that file is undergoing review by an officer it's been 2 months but no update I sent upfront Pcc to wake up VO and speed up process but still silence but one of my friend he sent pcc upfront he got a reply that his file is still awaiting review and after two days he Got MR request

immigrant2b, did you get any response after sending upfront PCC? Do you still recommend to give a wakup call by sending upfront PCC? Actually my friend is at the similar stage and we were also thinking to follow that route.
