is it the date we get the last update in our ecas?

Date Modified : 2015-08-17

This date refers to update made by IT Staff on ECAS Servers [Siebel Systems]. During that update ECAS will be unavailable.

Last Date Modified was 2015-06-15.

Couple of hours ago, 7th line update today "Medical received".. Medical Done on 17th September & Uploaded by Hospital on 20th September. Now wait for PPR begins.

By the way, I have raised a CSE yesterday to check whether last year PCC submitted for Bahrain was acceptable or not (As i have been requested by RFI for the updated PCC along with the medicals and i have send him the scan copy of same old Bahrain PCC along with the new PCC from other countries). I also received two mails, one standard automated email and another " Out of Office".

Dear Friends,

I felt that VOs of LVO are busy with other assignment in this week (from 12th October to 18th October) rather than dealing with our applications. Either they are busy in conducting applicant interviews in Abu Dhabi or they are engaged in upcoming Canadian General Elections held on 18th October.

The reason of thinking is that I raised CSE and got automatic reply that I am not available in office from 12th October and will resume office on 19th October. This is the general reply from LVO with no VO initials. Same is the reply few other applicants has already received and share with this forum.

May be my perception is wrong as few are engaged rather than from all VOs as very few applicants are receiving updates on their applications in this week.

And the reason is quite simple, because to immigrate is not a small decision only for yourself, but it is a decision which is going to impact you, your family, and your future generations. Therefore, to get worried and distracted from your current activities in order to know that where your application is reached or because of uncertainty lying under the decision that will be made and when it will be made is quite natural. News of a person whose dead is brought to relatives can be forgotten after few days or month, but nobody can forget a missing relative even after decades. And misery and agony of missing person is never forgotten and doesn't allow that person to focus fully on anything.
