Dear fellas!!!

I just recieved my passport request from cic london, now my question is since iam residing in other country i just sent my passport to pakistan, can my wife send all the passports to chc islamabad through tcs or do i need to send it through vfs?? Is it necessary to send it through vfs or can my wife send it through tcs???

You are right today is Canadian Public Holiday, as mentioned on the following Wikipedia page that this day is on 12th October for year 2015

That is the reason that we did not hear anything new from LVO from anybody.

I expect that before end of this month إن شاء الله عزوجل I shall be able to get MR, being optimistic.
You did not share your timeline, your NOC, PER etc. and Program Assistant initials.

Slu 26/8
Tlu september that they transefered my file to LVO
pcc request sept 4
I send to add my new child on late september

COPR last week .

Do I require ETA to land in in July 2016 or The ETA apply only for visitors and not immigrant .

Thank you everyone on the forum for the advice, support and constant encouragement. This forum is truly a great resource for not just information but for those looking for some sort of hope.

I got my passport back from Abu Dhabi today in exactly 10 days of sending it to them (from Kuwait), which I didn't expect because the norm is 4-5 weeks. So expect the unexpected guys. when things start moving, they move fast. for instance, i got my PPR request 3 days after my medical was sent.

I plan to leave early next year. Good luck all of you! and Goodbye for now!

YES, you will need ETA


Starting March 15, 2016, you need an eTA to visit or transit Canada by air.

Starting March 15, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit through Canada will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid visa.

Entry requirements for other methods of travel (land, sea) have not changed.
