Any idea how much the process will be delayed due to X ray deferral.

I think that after child birth, the most important activity will be to add new child in your PR-application, and this process it self sometimes takes 45day to X-days. But of course, unpredictable LVO can do you a favor and can complete this process with few days, Maybe!!, if you are lucky enough. So, then you will be getting MR for your child as well and after submitting of medicals of new born child along with your medical results another 10-days to X-days can be taken. So, i think after delivery, it might take roughly 3-months to X-months. But again these are rough statistics based on information share by others on the forum during past months. Of course, in all these numbers you can more importance to X-Factor which I have used in above predictions or forecast. Because unknown variable is extensively used by LVO and only you come to know it's value when LVO sends/requests something from you and after that another X-starts !!!!!

Hi,

The issue date on the visa is the same date of the PPR mail. ie., in my case the issue date is mentioned as 18 August 2015. However, the landing date is exactly 1 year from my medicals received. ie. 15 July 2016.

how long did it take for you to get your passport back? Also, Aramex Kuwait did not write my return address, they just took my number saying they will call me. did they do that for you as well?

Thanks alot for replying quick . i have attached deferral letter and a letter from my doctor to the email im sending to CIC. Any idea about how long does it take after delivery to get baby's medical done and get visa as my visa would be expiring 29 Sept 2016???

LVO usually give 45 days from the date of birth to submit various documents of the new born (e.g. passport, birth certificate from Nadra, new forms to be filled, fee, etc.). They will enlist the documents required. I am not aware how long will it take for LVO to send MR request for the new born but i think it should be a month or so. Moreover, I think the one year countdown from MR to visa expiry will start ticking after completion of your pending x-ray, I am not sure though so please double check, seniors/ others are requested to please confirm the understanding.

Dear Amy,

It's good u sent the deferral letter to CIC. Your medical is only complete after the x-rays are done.
Did you send the form IMM5733E to VO ?
B'cause you received MR, so your case is almost complete.
For the baby, Ali-N is right.
Plus,
There is no requirement of urine or blood tests OR X-rays,
The PP will follow history & IMM5738 (developmental milestones).

A max of 3 months and you should have your PPR.
So be happy....

For reconfirming Visa Expiry date:
Only those who have done furtherance/deferrals in medical, and then received their COPR can actually tell you...

hi guys,

Today i checked my ECAS and its showing 4 line. Summary is that they have updated till February 6th, 2015, when i received photo request.

Latest updates are that as i had a baby boy last month, so i updated VO through email and in reply received email from Client service unit with necessary documents to be sent. They gave me sixty days to send those documents.

So by this, i conclude that my file has been given another review date by which they will receive all the documents and may be then i could hear some news. I hope to hear any news by January or February 2016.

So guys, have faith and be patient as what ever will happen, will happen for a purpose. Wish you all the best of luck.

Dear Brother Khurramrizvi,

Congratulations upon obtaining of Visa.

Although my timeline almost exactly same as your except my application reached on 19th Dec and my PER is 11th march. But unfortunately, despite of having all of my information completely verifiable online as well as offline, no update received from LVO;except the two lines that everyone else have gotten in their ECAS.

Have you raised CSE's and ordered GCMS notes, that forced them to expedite your case?
OR as other have opined that it is a matter of luck/lottery, whosoever file comes in the hands of LVO officers, or if LVO officer is of good mentality then your case will be processed faster!!!!
Really bit surprised and confused with the way LVO is working. Although they claim in every email that we are processing the applications as per the date it is received. But it seems to be a complete lie.

I am very much thankful to you for your kind wishes and greetings. Yes I observe that too that you and me were in a same line, but indeed its luck. what I did I kept things more simple according to the instruction guide regarding filling up the forms and other documentation, I don't have any travel history or may be CIC randomly select application for audit to check Visa officer work quality which may cause delay because selected application have to go through different checks maybe twice again.

After 460 days since application and 343 days since PER, I finally received the MR for me and family.
My VO is RIH and NOC is 2132. My timelines are on left.
