Its my suggestion to all applicants from Pakistan please first send e-mail for medical appointment on the canmedpk @ iom.int rather than first trying to contact on phone. Karachi's numbers are 92-21-34385612 / 34385613 but they will give you another number from where appointment is issued all around Pakistan I.e. 051111466472 but usually this number remains busy so operator also suggest to e-mail on canmedpk @ iom.int with your whole details e.g

Hi mates. I need an advise. Right now i am in London and waiting for MR, going to renew my passport because I am planing to visit the Pakistan for few months and want to stay in Dubai few days on transit visa. my passport is still valid for 5 months but the problem is if some one want transit visa so his passport should be valid for 6 month that's the reason i am going to renew my passport So my question is.
1: Some one told me when you renew your passport they will change the last digit of your passport number?
2: How I can inform the Visa office after getting the renewed passport with a new number as they have my passport details with current passport number

This is correct when your passport is renewed the last digit would be changed once you get the renew pp immediately inform your VO through mail with scan copy so he can update his record, hope it cleared

With the MR, they ask for updated information chart. Update new number and send the passport copy.
I did the same for my spouse passport.
Would suggest to renew the passport.

Hi guys,

I received SLU , TLU and FLU between 26 and 29 aug when SLU storm from LVO came. Meanwhile I had raised my first CSE regarding the status of my file. My VO RFI replied that background checks are currently underway and nothing is required by them from me right now. Earlier they asked for some additional documents related to work (salary account statement and a query about not providing official email addresses of my referees) which I had furnished within 30 days. There is complete silence since then.

Can anybody guess whats up next?

This waiting is very disturbing. You dont know whats gonna happen. All plans and decision put away due to this unknown wait.

Dear,
I had the same scenario.
I renewed my passport 5 months before they expired. Then waited for over a month.
When LVO sent me MR email, with request to update forms and pay RPRF,
then i scanned and sent copies of the new passport, the updated forms and RPRF receipt by email, (and wrote that i renewed them).
Then use the new passports for MR, and PCC.
If PCC is already sent, don't redo it. (don't worry they will update it in their system)

Dear,
I live in Riyadh, KSA.
As you have informed LVO about KSA, submitted new forms and done medical.
Do your PCC for Saudia immediately and send them by email.
Check the details i have given in this thread page 190 "Saudi Arabia based Applicant"

It's 11 days for me today since DM. Who's your visa officer/ program assistant? Mine is VCM
 
Any one August 2014 who has VO DRD/MCH??? It seems no update from DRD.
