Hope for all who got slu updated recently. Mine was updated on 16 aug, got mr tday. Timeline below:
Application 6 oct 14
Per 15 jan 15
Photo request 25 feb
Slu 16 aug
Mr 26 aug
Noc 0113
VO lbm

Got some hope as we have same NOC, your SLU on 16th August while mine on 14th August. So close.

I got my SLU updated on 14 th August, processing start from Feb 04, 2014.

If today,s second line update (SLU) is simply a system generated mail then why all of the people did not get it?

why many sep, oct, nov applicants are still waiting for SLU?

I got backdated SLU too... 20 jan.


Do we have LVO applicants without SLU NOW ?

Hey,
Your point is absolutely valid. The visa officers update their work on the system and then after couple of days the data is uploaded on to the server/portal. This is what I am assuming.

I storngly feel its a eyewash. However will come to know in coming days. Hope i am wrong. Just months of waiting has made me pessimistic.
Is there any body who is still does not have SLU.

Who ever i asked has got SLU. Seems like mass system update.

Like many of you I also got my SLU today. It says Processing starts on 12-02-2015 (22 days after my PER)
My time line :

App Date : 14-10-2014
PER Date : 21-01-2015
Photo Req : 02-03-2015
SLU : 26-08-2015

If you analyze about this mass second line updates, you will realize that processing dates are very much closer to your PER date. It means once you receive PER, your file was transferred to visa office...

I have completed one year MBA from IIBMS (Indian Institute of Business Management and Studies) based in Mumbai. This is an autonomous institute and not recognize with UGC or Dec. I am planing to send my certificates to WES for verification. Is WES recognize IIBMS and its courses. Please help!!

I totally agree with you bro but most of the people have SLU even from back date of PER this is very wierd but I got the processing date 22 days after PER

As per first page of ECAS you can read CIC has mentioned:- "The Client Application Status site is updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays."

Therefore most probably they have updated SLU for all of those who got their SLU today, just yesterday. But I don't see that there are many of us who got SLU. Only few of the fortunates candidates have gotton SLU. Specially those poor chaps whose files are pillow of RFI are waiting from months of Aug 2014. Threrefore it can never be System-Glitch or error. And in fact only less then 10-persons got their SLU as far as I note. Can anyone make summary of those who got their SLU today.
I hope to receive my SLU this week because two spy of CIC are contineously viewing my profile for past two weeks. And recently I got a message that MyCIC profile has been updated. I am optimistic to receive SLU within this week. But rest assured those who got their SLU in this week should hopefully expect their MR sooner if LVO works in normal mode otherwise those whose files are gone into abnormal hands of RFI should only pray because their MR "MaR gaya".

I think it is system update as there were many applicants who were having 2 address in ECAS from February and some of us received just last month the same update.
Similarly the appearance of SLU can be system update especially in the case when they are mentioning back dates. An applicant on forum informed that his ECAS was having a line mentioning that additional documents requested to such date and in real he receive an email to update schedule A and renewed PCC. May be from now onward all the important communication from VO will appear in ECAS.
Hope that we all have a quick and smooth process for the rest.

We received your application on July 5, 2013.

Today I have got 2nd line update

We have started Processing your application on October 18, 2013

This is probably date when my file was transferred to LVO.

My VO is RFI... There has never been any update since my PER on October 2013. After 2 years and 1 month since submitted application with NO SINGLE update/request, I already have lost hope and excitement
