Experts! need an advise. I am applicant of 24th Sep, waiting for medicals. We have been blessed with a baby girl few days back and i am in process of completing her documents. Can you please advise when is the best time to inform LVO about change in my family composition. Should i let the medical come and get it done for me and my wife then inform or i should inform them now.

Hi guys,

I received my medical request, RPRF request, Passport copy request, and information chart update on March 18, 2015.
I submitted all requested information on 4th April (my third line was updated by then). My immigration officer is KKB.

Until now, I have not received any passport request.

Is it normal? I felt it is a bit long comparing to other applicants.

I appreciate your responses.

It usually takes a 4-6 weeks to get the passport request .. congrats in advance .... what is ur timeline

Well, this is a tricky question to answer but as per my knowledge CIC clearly states that applicant should inform Visa Office immediately about any changes in life circumstances which includes job as well. So you should update your VO. You have mentioned that you have been promoted in same organization then why would your NOC change??? You are being promoted and this is a positive thing and if your JD's still match your NOC then it could impact your application in a positive way. But Decision is upto you!

Thanks for assistance. Actually there is different NOC for nurse supervisor (3011) and for managers in healthcare (0311). However, I have worked for 2+ years as supervisor and to my knowledge it's fine if a person have worked for more than an year in that particular NOC. Still I am confused if I should send an update or not. Please advice.

Any NOC experience to be considered by the CIC should of atleast 12 months....thus it would be confusing and initiation of re-assessment if you update CIC before completing 12 months. Update to CIC is required for matters that effect your immigration or assets you would be taking to Canada like you being charged for felony or birth of a child in family, marriage and related issues, death of family member, inheritance of a fortune etc.

Just received a reply from MCH, he acknowledged & apologized the error, indeed asked for my resided countries PCC's.

Sure, I'm sending the clarification mail to MCH regarding said countries, and in the mean time I've initiated the PCC for my home and my residing countries.
There is no second line updated yet.

Hey Everyone,

My case for Spouse Sponsorship was applied on 12 June 2014. Later I got an email on 5th March 2015 from embassy with request to provide the contact details between me and my wife since she left for Canada on 7th January 2014 , I send the detail and has been received by embassy on 16th march. During this I received another email from the Delhi Canadian embassy and they request for re-medical assessment and I done it in 4 days at CIC health assessment center.
Now can you please guide me that how time much it will take for Passport request? Or How much time it will take for completing my immigration process ?

My case is in London Embassy.

Hope you are doing well.

I changed my job last month. Do you think I should update LVO rightaway? The thing is my current HR manager is on annual leave and will be back next week. Also, I am still awaiting all documents from my previous company.

Do you think it will affect my application if I update LVO?

Congratulation for the New Born. May she live long.

In my opinion it is better to complete the documents for the baby doll and once all the documents completed i.e. birth certificate, passport etc then send CSE to LVO and ask for the further guidance.
