Hi Abu,

my noc is 1112, I applied the 9th may and my interview is in London, the 19th march.
I'm not in uk now so I've been trying to change the interview city to miami but the lvo doesnt answer my emails. Do you know what I can do to get the city changed??

COG11,

In case of bank statement or certificate, the minimum closing balance must be equal to or more than the CIC's requirement of funds based on the size of the family.

By the way, what is your NOC & date of application and where & when you are called for the interview?

+1 rawdah... one of the Most valued contributors in the forum:)

COG11,

It is possible to change the location of the interview. Hopefully, you have already requested to change the location of the interview; you will hear back for sure. If it is not possible for LVO to arrange the interview in Miami, they will suggest nearest possible city.

Good luck buddy for your interview.

Look for the Paper file history at the bottom. It is organized in the decreasing order I.E. Latest from the top.
Same goes with the Notes section at the bottom.
Do you have something like in location- PA Put away
Looks like they haven't started working on your case.
All the best.

Hi nkalra,
I have location PA Put away on my gcms..........> what does it mean?
Secondly, all my due dates are near to the dates when i received the PER, no due date for 2014.

Guys I am mailing my wife's documents to LVO as I recently got married.

I enquired the procedure from LVO and got an email with the required dox list having following email signatures:

DXS
Program Assistant
Immigration Section
High Commission of Canada
38 Grosvenor Street
London W1K 4AA
United Kingdom
Government of Canada

My query is, shall I address the same as above in the coverletter/envelope or just the address without DXS and Program Assistant?

I am sure it will not make any difference if I add DXS etc or not. However, forum mandates that everything should be discussed :)

Thanks,

Hi COG11,

When did you receive the notification for your interview please?
My NOC is also 1112 and I did not get any interview call or email rather my employer was called instead to confirm my employment dates.

Please kindly respond.

Hi Stranger,

Well I don't know exactly, I checked from seniors and came to the conclusion that 'Pa- Put Away' means they have opened your file whether accessed it or not and after doing something it has been kept back in the shelf to access it later. Reason can be en number of.

most probably his file is in Back ground checks....

is there papers screening notes at the end of GCMS notes?

before going to background check they complete papers screening notes......

if papers screening notes are there then his file is in background checks and this is the reason file is in the storage area.....

Dear outstandinguy, I think you should address the envelop with the name of your visa officer written as well. We have the same VO.

Can you please give detailed step by step procedure to get PCC from Saudi. Now I am outside Saudi and want to know is it possible to get PCC for my earlier stay!!?

Same goes with me, I think soundless you , me and NM has been interviewed last Thursday and our GCMS notes are exactly the xerox copy.
And I can interpret that in August we had 1st review after the case officer has been assigned. Then on 23rd December last time our files was opened and kept it away. Then on January 20th we had been called for interview.

Yeah, I recognized that we have similar cases ans thats why we were lined up on the same day.
