When lvo send MR request after 2nd line update.
Any one who got 2nd line update on 9 feb

Hi, On same boat, Per on 8 Jan, received photo request on 6 Feb and sent on 16 Feb and no updates.

Hi,
A lot of you guys are aware of your visa officer's intials! how do we find this.
I received PER on 15-Dec under 2132 category. Got requests for photographs on 05-Feb. Sent them on 10-Feb to london. Till date i got no update from visa office. When can i expect MR request? Any advice?

my 45 days limit for submission of pcc,rfrp ,Info chart, ppr1 ,expired on 17th feb 2015.
I sent my documents, via courier on 30th jan n via email on 2nd feb n assumed thy hav been recvd by my VO. I sent a query to lvo last friday n rcvd reply on monday that my pcc isnt thr in my file. I re sent pcc copy by email as advised by my VO.
I again send another email regarding confirmation of pcc delivery n till now no reply from VO.
1. Should i assume all docs have been recvd as in email my VO only asked to resend PCc n didnt mention confirmation of rprf n ppr1 being recvd or not.so i assumed that rest hv been been rcvd and not acknowledged.
2. What u guys suggest me, should i send another query bcoz i fear my vo ,VCM, has got annoyed with my queries..

Hi Maha,

It is good to keep your follow up minimum with visa officers and provide what is requested.

Since your VO has replied for PCC only on your query, it is good to assume the rest is fine.

I suggest to wait and meanwhile your send query is pending with VO, he may reply with confirmation of receipts.

I just checked CIC website it is written that applications of Federal Skilled Workers, Federal Skilled Trades and Canadian Experience Class, Express Entry will be handle by Hig Commission of Islamabad & London Visa office will deal for Self-employed, Start-up visa, Quebec-selected skilled worker, PNP and family sponsorship applications.

I believe this could be the reason that Pakistani Applicants not getting quick response from LVO.

(Includes Self-employed, Start-up visa, Quebec-selected skilled worker, PNP and family sponsorship)

Channel Islands, Denmark, Falkland Islands, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Norway, Sweden, Scotland, United Kingdom

Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen, for Self-employed and Start-up visa only

Pakistan, for Self-employed, Start-up visa, Quebec-selected skilled worker, PNP and family sponsorship applications


That means they they won't be dealing cases from Pakistan and UAE anymore?? :-\

Has your second line been updated?

no mate there is no second line until now.

and when you just send an inquire to visa office in the reply there is initial of your VO at the end of mail . Hope its help.

I understand for those people applying after jan 1st 2015 in express entry, those cases will not be processed by lvo.. correct me if im wrong??

if vcm doesnt reply for a week, that means she is waiting to issue mr soon.. so you can expect mr in couple of weeks..

I received same request. I kept one photo blank while on rest of three, I mentioned all details, i.e., name, dob, date photo taken and phorographer stamp. I think there is no harm in adding photographer details when we are already mentioning personal details. Logically it makes more sense to me.
I also wear prescription glasses but I appeared in photos without those because of two reasons. 1) there shouldn't be any glare on glasses 2) this is how I am appeared on my passport photo.
