My instincts say that there must be a priority list existing within each VO based on certain factors. It seems correct by looking at your file and 31st July applicant's file.

We have one 2132 LVO Applicant whose Application received on 31st July in our SS who got 2nd line, don't know what is their criteria for processing files.

Hi to the people that got interview requests this week , we had to respond within 7 days if we can make it , I did but I haven’t got any confirmation back has anyone else?

Received GCMS notes and as expected found nothing related to interview request, it just shows that when the interview request has been sent n when it was confirmed by me.
last due date is my per date.
So expecting just one of the random picks lets see.....

Do u think there may be any hidden notes in your GCMS note?

Yes, we have received your documents.

For information: lengthy background checks are now in process for your application. We are unable to advise exactly when they will be concluded but they are expected to take a minimum of 6 months. You need take no further action at this time.

Please consider this information before contacting our office again.

After 6-7 interview request on Last Monday, seems we will have to wait again 3 weeks further to smell any further turtle movement

Wow.. lenghty background checks--- if we like it or not but before 2 years any visa from LVO not in sight :-\

This is really disappointing, if they are taking MINIMUM 6 months only for background check. It means there is no way, our applications will be finalized within 1 year time frame .

Your and mine application/PER date is almost same, so it is not a good news for me either
