hi seniors
i want to ask that wrong visa office selection will cause rejection of app? as i applied on 29th may, confirmed through bank my DD got charged but after six months my application n all documents came bak without DD and without any rejection notice, it was stamped by CIO nova scotia. some body told me that for pakistani candidates there are london visa office while i have mentioned Nova scotia as i wasnt aware. was this the cause of my rejection or if it is rejected then y there is not any rejection reason and where is my DD??? i m so much confused to whom i ask what happened with my app. as i was fulfilling all criterias. plz guide me i m so worried

Hello farsaad,

I don't think there should be any problem in selecting wrong visa office, as I read a few posts there were few applicants who entered wrong visa office and yet got their application processed. I had sent my app in 2013 with wrong visa office as well and they corrected that for me and returned as the CAP had reached.

You can always call CIC to check why the app has been returned to you.

Relax you should be hearing from LVO soon. You should consider the fact that they are moving to a new office and thus there might be an additional delay.

I sent my passport by aramex and it says - "Delivered - ss im". Not sure what "ss im" stands for? ???

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are getting positive news from LVO. I just want to make sure that I got all the necessary documents from LVO after submitting my passport to AUH office.

Here's what I got: my passport with visa stamp (visa stamp has no photo), 2 copies of CoPR (one with photo, the other one without), and a detailed guide/instruction about my PR status. - 100 % Correct

Is this correct?

My visa expiration is on or before October 28, 2015. It means I can land now anytime on or before that date, correct? 100 % Correct

May I know what are the working days for AUH VO? I read somewhere that they are working from Mon-thur (with Thursday being an half a day). Is this true?

If they work 3.5 days in a week, then I believe it will take at least 3 weeks to get the passports.

Hi Jaxon, our PER date is the same and nothing heard from cic nor London since then. I noticed that if you have a more complicated application, say you have worked for a number of companies or you have traveled abroad frequently, then it delays one's application since VO needs to check all those companies and those countries.

Expect any kind of request after 50 days although it may take more then 60 days

They sent our MR, PPR1, RPRF request and PPR2 via e-mail. I believe that they will correspond via e-mail unless you did not specify one in your application.
