Mate I submitted my FSW application on the 14th of August 2014 and When i track the mail, it says it has been delivered to Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada. But I have not received any reply from them yet. I sent an email to the email address provided a month ago, just to check the status, but they have not replied as yet.

Could you advise, what shall I do to chase it up?

Bro to get first reply from CIC u need to wait for 100 to 120 days
In my case I got it after 110 days

Regarding reply to Ur mail , u will get there response after 40 to 45 days

If u have paid through Credit card u may get charge confirmation before any formal response from CIC

And lastly u can't do anything to chase them up or speed up the process other then waiting with faith and patience.

Hello all who have recieved their visas. I have a couple of questions pls:

1- after the visa is stamped on the pp, how many days do we have for landing in canada? Like what is the max time before we have to land for sure.
2- if there is more than 1 applicant on file, does everyone need to land together? Or can one person land first and the others join later?

Anybody know this information that would be very helpful in making plans.

I have not recieved my visa yet but have recieved the ppr1 and sent in all documents including medical rprf bio pages updated pcc n proof of funds.

Im hoping the visa would come soon.

But i still dont even have 2nd line on my ecas. I only have the first line - recieved application on xx date.

Thanks in advance to all those who reply and have replied to my questions earlier.

I got updated information chart from visa officer in which I measured heights at home but height measured at medical exam were slightly different. Should I send again updated information chart to visa officer with heights measured at the medical exam?

Bro,
1) the immigration visa is valid for one year from the date of medicals submitted/uploaded to VO, or any of your passport expiry date whichever is earlier. For example, if your depended's passport expires in 6 months, you all will get visa valid for 6 months, and you will have to land before expiry date mentioned in the visa.

2) No, Principal applicants should land then dependents can land later (within the validity of visa). But it is recommended that you all land together.

If I plan to do a short landing to get PR card and plan to move permanently in a year's time after that. Will I have to pay taxes to Canadian government for the earning made from short landing till I move permanently?

Hi experts,
What is ecas 2nd line? when does it appear normally? Does MR email comes before it?

Salam,

I got PPR 1 on 7th Oct.
When should I expect PPR 2?

Can I be sure that I am though or still there is a chance of a negative feedback?
Thanks

Second line is updated when Visa officer starts processing on ur file
usually MR comes after it but there is no certain time frame for it.

Depends if your earnings are
(a) inside Canada like bank interest; stock trading; earnings; etc ... Yes have to pay taxes next FY.
(b) outside Canada like earnings in home country; property sale etc ... No Canadian taxes to pay. local/home country taxes may be applicable.

in my opinion, you have to pay taxes on your world earning after becoming Permanent resident.
so be careful in making a decision, because if your country of residence in not under the tax treaty with Canada, then you have to pay double tax (one gross tax at your principal earning + other canadian tax on your net world income) ,

consult from Canada Revenue Agency is advisable , but in my opinion you may be anonymous on inquiries before making your final decision,
