I have also received just pcc request with passport bio pages and updated info chart from lvo.

This is not ppr or mr. I think lvo is working a bit differently for some applicants. They are doing secondary checks prior to background checks.

Any how after this InshAllah we will get Mr and our processing will be faster. Good luck

You sure about that?

This forum is filled with people posting messages where they got visa once updated information records are requested + passport biopages

DM made two days back on ECAs while no email received yet for PPR2 ! Let hope for good !

A lesson learnt from my experience was that the hardcopy letter did not reach (even yet), however the letter is posted before DM status is updated. So I suggest to give a week from DM and write an email to your regular contact email VO and ask any other docuemnt to be submitted from your end... etc.

When I did that they replied me with copy of the letter by email, where only 30 days of time was given to submit the PP, while it was almost 3 week since the letter date. I wanted you to be cautious. GOOD LUCK.

p.s: My VO is London as well.

LONDON VISA OFFICE

My INFO:

NOC: 1112
VO: LVO
Application Date: May 08, 2014
PER Date: August 14, 2014

Hello Guys

I am putting in yet another query regarding the notorious LVO. Few observation / questions:

- First I was thinking that maybe its the Pakistani applications on the back burner at the LVO (as was also suggested by some1 on this forum) however that is not the case there are clearly some Pakistani applicants in the first half of May who have received their MR despite several early May applicants still waiting. Any Views on this Experts?

- Some1 suggested that the LVO is prioritizing applicants on the engineering NOCs - however like I said above they have issued MRs to a variety of NOCs not suggest a specific group.

- Could it be that a very small sample of lucky applicants are exempted from screening and detailed background checks and as a consequence have received their MRs while applicants before them have not.

- What is perhaps the most baffling thing to me that it appears that LVO is not processing applications on FIFO basis. I mean here's how it works right - my application reached CIO on May 08, 2014 - now these people will process my application before every application received subsequent to mine. After issuing my PER the file shall be transferred to the VO and at that point it should technically be queued up for processing and once its turn comes the second line on ECAS should be updated. I completely understand that how one persons background check may take longer than the other and as a consequence there may be a difference of timelines in the issuance of the MRs but why there is a difference in the updation of the second line in ECAS makes absolutely no sense to me - Any Views Experts?

- I thought i'd check out the FSW 2013 spreadsheet to perhaps get a better handle on how LVO has went about business in the past and observed that generally they have taken 6 - 8 months from the PER to issue the MR. And apparantely they are working on both 2013 as well as 2014 applications at the moment.

- Lastly, I thought I'd hit the source directly by putting in a query to the LVO and asking them what they're upto - but apparently it says on their website that if the time lapsed for the application is less than the average processing time reported on the CIC website (which for LVO I think is 27 months) they will not respond to the query. Has anyone (early May Applicants) tried sending them an email / query and received an appropriate response?

Would greatly appreciate comments views on the above. I am being patient and frankly if the LVO today says that your application will take X months, i'd simply sit and wait - but its this existing haywire method of theirs which has not exactly gotten me anxious but hugely confused.

Hello Guys

I am putting in yet another query regarding the notorious LVO. Few observation / questions:

I too received my PER on 14th august. But am 9thmay applicant.

One thing lvo doesnt follow a single pattern. All visa officers at lvo different style of working. N yes they dont follow fifo.

Being Pakistani yes we r being processed late. Apart from a few exemptions which r very small in number. Someone i know with same noc n same app date got Mr yesterday but she was from gulf.

OK while i am waiting impatiently for my MR request, a certain thought came to my mind.

I want to ask all the seniors of 2013 like Msaeed, Mish, Maria-Sal, Owais Iqbal, etc (whoever gets the time to respond) to please explain the behaviour / treatment or specific tendencies of London Visa officers against their given initials according to your experience. Since i have applied for the first time, so i only know very few initials of London Visa officers. Please add as many Initials of Visa officers as you wish.

Trust me, this will help the aspiring and awaiting London Visa office applicants to forecast their future visa processing timelines.

Thanks in advance. Once again i request to add as many Visa officers as you have come across during your visa processing.
My vo was EFL but i got my medical request from BWJ.

@ Candidates who have submitted Saudi PCC

Regarding PCC (specifically from KSA): I have got Saudi PCC and its translated copy (Arabic to English) along with translators stamp on original and translators certificate attested from Chamber of Commerce (Usual place in KSA to get such things attested). i.e. translation formalities have been completed (as i did for docs already accepted by CIC).

Do i need to get it (original or translation) attested from anywhere else, such Ministry of Foreign Affairs????

Hi everyone,

I received PER yesterday. My VO is London and I need to send new Background Declaration form to VO because I made a slight mistake in it.

Can someone guide me how to accomplish this? i.e. when will file reach London VO? At which address should I send my updated Background Declaration form? and does London VO send acknowledgement of file receipt? etc.

Thanks

you may send a corrected version of your background declaration form with a cover letter specifying why u r updating the form on
Canadian High Commission,
Immigration and Medical Services Division,
Macdonald House,
38 Grosvenor Street,
London,
W1K 4AA,
UK

LVO doesn't send AOR. Also, depends upon what actually is the 'slight mistake'...I mean u can avoid updating the form too but of course its better to send... good luck :)
