My consultant raised CSE and told me they will take couple of week to respond.. is it true they take that much time to respond?

Application status: we received your application. We will send you message when there is an update or if we need more info.
Eligibility: we are reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements.
Medical: passed
More doc: we do not need
Interview: we don't need
BG: not applicable
Final decision: your app is in progress. We will send you message once final decisions has been made.
Pls can someone tell me which stage I'm? Or any time scale how long does it take to final decision PPR.

My case is different

I sent paper application to CIC on Jan 2017
received AOR on March 2017
sent CSE - they confirmed my visa office is London (though I work and located in Dubai)
on May 8, BGC changed to "we are Processing your BGC" from In Progress (show during AOR)..
no FT , no MR yet, eligibility under review..

You need to relax brother... I have exactly the same status as you have and my AOR is 16th Oct.. Yes a month before yours! No one tell which stage you are in.. No one can tell how long it will take to final decision.. Everyone's case is different and the whole PR process is extremely "Non-transparent". There are ppl in this forum who got ppr within 3 months and there are ppl who are still waiting from more than 15 months..Yes more than one and a half year!!! just search the forum and your will find many..
so just relax and pray that you do not fall into into later category.

I raised CSE last month AFTER crossing my 6 months timeline and I got reply after 3 days.. Again its different from case to case.

You need to relax brother... I have exactly the same status as you have and my AOR is 16th Oct.. Yes a month before yours! No one tell which stage you are in.. No one can tell how long it will take to final decision.. Everyone's case is different and the whole PR process is extremely "Non-transparent". yes, its extremely annoying that we are not getting any update.. my bg status is same since december "We are processing your background check. We wil send you a message if we need more information."

this whole process is non transparent. totally agree.

whew! and you are EE applicant.. my BG changed to "we are in processing.." on May 8.. PNP O paper-based... do I expect earlier respond? better to kneel and pray..

at least some progress.
i personally feel that london processes paper based pnps a little faster than ee pnps.
i have not received any update since 1 dec 2016.

Coz I am also going to raise a CSE on 6 months completion (26 May.

It was kind of a standard reply that they are waiting for the result of my background check. Nothing more was mentioned.
