I'm applying for spousal sponsorship to Canada via the London office (they deal with applications from Ireland). Can anyone tell me why on earth London has a ridiculous time of 28 months processing but the Paris office is only 8?

Does anyone know of any ways that can speed up the processing time for London? My application will be denied due to inadmissability, but we're going to be appealing to the IAD via humanitarian and compassionate grounds with my lawyer. I don't need to wait 28 months to get the obvious no answer, when we're relying on appeal anyway.

Any tips to speed it up? Ireland and England have a great relationship so any documents and post times would be easily accessible and short.

Thanks

If you go to the London Outland thread you will find the answers at the top of the spreadsheet as to why London is delayed. As for only 17 or 18 applicants that are on the spreadsheet there are many more in other groups that is not on here .
Have you looked in rehabilitation before you apply and get rejected . Thats a long time to wait to get rejected then apply again with a H&C Application. You may be better off sorting out why your going to get rejected first.
