Hi all,

I just want to share the 2nd AOR of my friend dated August 9. London office received his full docs last week of July. The letter says:

Dear Madam/Sir,

This refers to your application for PR which was recently received at this office. We created a file number pasted above. This file number is different from the one assigned to you by the Case Processing Center in Sydney.

Before your application can be placed in processing, a further determination will be made as to whether or not you are eligible. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the decision as well as a refund.

Processing time
Application for PR in Canada in your category require, on average, 12 months to process at this office. If you have not received any instructions from us within 8 months of the date o this letter, please contact this office.
==========================
For those of you who just received 2nd AOR, does the letter say the same? My friend's NOC is 1111. Another thing I observed is that in VO you are still assessed for eligibility after the assessment in CIO, and you will get refund if found ineligible. And the processing time of average 12 months...and not contacting them before 8 months.. I think this is the new rules now!!!

I am worried because up to now I have not received my 2nd AOR. In fact My full docs reached London office last week of MAY, that is 2 months after my friend sumbitted all his docs... My friend received his 2nd AOR in a month time... Mine 3 months have passed but nothing at all. :(

Hi ,
have you checked you E Case Status ? is it received by visa office or not yet ?
Sometimes Applicants fail to recieve 2nd AOR for many reasons as London VO it by regular mail.
Also you can order CAIPS notes to see what is happening with your file.

Good Luck

If your Ecase is Received by VO , then they have already sent you 2nd AOR, if you like to make sure that everything is going fine , you can order your CAIPS notes.

BTW : when exactly your status has changed ?

This is a standard response to all applicants. The same time frames were mentioned in my AOR received January 2010 and my visa office is also London. Best of luck.

hi datuganol

i had the same standard from London
i sent full document in march and the office send me AOR in less than a month
put in ur case if the e-case Chang to "received by visa office" , that min its for sure that London office received ur document, and u don't need the AOR from them

good luck for all
