Dear All
i have a Question . we received the ITA For our application . when we ask our agent to share the login details they informed us the following

your case will be represented by our Lawyer and your Express Entry will be fetched in our Lawyer’s portal. So, we will not be able to share the log in credentials for our Lawyer’s portal. Under the same ID we have thousands of cases of other clients, so it will not be possible for us to share the log in ID and password. Hope you will understand that sharing personal details (log in) of lawyer is not feasible. Moreover it is against the guidelines of CIC which they have set for the lawyers .

is this information true ?

No - not true. This is a lie. Log in credentials are always individual.

There is no "lawyer portal". This is also a lie.

Immigration consultants cannot and shouldn't provide credentials.

Like an individual applicant has one profile and one credential, a consultant also has one profile and one credential. But through that one profile, the consultant handles 1000s of applicants. Handing out the credential would mean two things, the applicant can screw up someone else's application and will have access to personal information which is indeed against CIC guidelines.

A big immigration consulting firms do not create profiles per applicant.

While I agree there is no such lawyer portal, @Paulferns the information provided to you is indeed correct.
