I sent out my TRV application by mail to Buffalo about 10 days ago. Just found out my place is closer to Detroit. Will the Buffalo consulate still process my application or they will transfer to Detroit? How long will it take to get it recently? Thanks!

It's okay to send it to Buffalo. The reason people sometimes send to a visa/consulate office closer to their place of residence is precisely that, closer, nearer just in case an interview is needed.
