Is LMO client specific? What I mean is: I got a positive LMO for (my employer) for a specific client and valid WP. If my project gets over for that client, Is it possible for me to work for another client for the same role (no change in the employer)??

I think the term client is used loosely in these forums.

Does your work permit state the Clients name? If so, it's specific to that client.

My employer is consulting company, so we work for different clients. That's the reason i mentioned as 'Clients'.

Well, is your work visa for your employer or for a particular client? That gives you the answer you require.

My understanding was that LMO is employer based . But I might be wrong.

LMO is done by your employer and I believe the WP is also tied to the employer (Refer to your workpermit document). As long as you are on same role(performing same duties as submitted in the LMO application) and if your WP is tied to the employer you can work for any client.
