LMO PROCESSING TIMES 2013

Tang, I've been waiting since the end of June and there's still nothing. I just called my employer yesterday and he said that there still isn't any LMO. It's been over 18 weeks at this point. Then another one of my employers told me that LMOs are now taking 5 months. Also, I just called Service Canada and they told me that the average wait time is 8 weeks (I really have to laugh at this) but a lot of people also end up waiting 20 - 25 weeks.

One particular LMO I've been waiting for only took 13 weeks, but sadly, I still haven't been selected for that job yet. The only one that I have been chosen for is just sending his LMO application and I really don't want to have to wait 5 months.

LMO approved: 11 Oct 13.
Applied in Ontario.

My suggestion, given current processing times, forget about receiving your outcome for atleast 11 to 12 weeks. Expectation of LMO approval earlier than this timeline only led to disappointment for me.

hello what is the Noc they apply for your lmo? my employer applied my lmo last week this october and they said that it takes 3 months,noc 6251..Thanks

These delays are very frustrating, since when I accepted the job offer my employer suggested it should take 6-8weeks. Just hoping its not taking 5month as someone else mentioned.

Service canada has asked for a record of employment for the processing of LMO application.
Does anyone know what this could mean? Positive or negative?

I called service canada today, i ask what is the average processineg time of lmo nowadays, she said 8-10 weeks, but mine is unnamed lmo, im just waiting for confirmation on my name on it she said 35 days, im on my 32nd day today so hopefully next week, ill update it here too if i get it

Guys.. my patience is over... my Employer in Toronto Ontario, who applied LMO behalf of me on July 22nd, 2013 and today Nov 29th, its been over 4 months (17 weeks so far..) still waiting.. not fun at all... Sad Shocked

Hey mate I am with you.. hang in there.. I'm at 17 weeks so far, over 4 months and still waiting..
