Food counter attendant. Yes, a simple job like food counter attendant requires a 19 week wait. I'd say that there's probably something skeevy about this particular employer as this is his third attempt at getting an LMO.

Hi everyone,
My employer has submitted an unamed LMO (NOC 2173) for Alberta about 11 weeks ago, the lawyer insists that it is taking 10 weeks in average, even I called Service Canada yesterday and they mention 8 weeks only in avaerage ??? !! I have seen guys on this forum waiting for 6+ months, so are thoses the abnormal cases or it's really that everyone is suffering recently?

i want to ask also for Live in Caregiver 6months already still no LMO is this is normal or due to delays about the new updates regarding the processing times and etc..Thanks

LMO for live-in caregiver is as short as 5 weeks. My brother-in-law and I got the same length of time in processing our LMOs for our live-in caregivers. The delay actually depends how good your employer in providing justification why you should get hired.

Wow, that is awesome! I hope they keep up the good work 'till the family hiring me gets theirs, at least... ;)

I am in 14 week now for regina as a painter.........
What is your next step?

You should have it soon within the next two weeks. If it takes longer than 16 weeks, then it means that they're doing an investigation on your employer.
