Dear Sir / Madam :
I want to apply for living care giver visa and go for the fisrt time to Canada but LMO is issued on 2008/12/12 and the duration os employment mention there is 2 years ,
when this LMO will expire and my work contract will expire on march /2011.
Do i have time to apply for living care give visa still or not without apply for EXTEND LMO OR MY WORK CONTRACT ?
Please guide me as soon as possible.
THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE

All LMOs issued before Jan 2009 expired in Nov or Dec 2009. You would have to ask your employer to do the entire process again- advertise for the position on the job bank for at least 14 days, apply for LMO in your favour if no Canadian citizen or PR qualified or applied (you need to sign a contract with the employer before s/he can apply for the LMO, keep a copy of the contract), send you the LMO if approved then you can apply for the WP.

I think all LMO's are now only valid for 6 months from the date of issue (regardless of any expiry date which may have been put on them). You have to apply for the work permit within 6 months or get the LMO redone.
