You can ask your employer if willing to pay $1k and file an application. They will need to read through LMIA requirements and be eligible. They must post the job and show that the salary meets median wage for the region. They need to provide their recruitment process. It takes many months to get an approved LMIA so need to start soon. Then with approved LMIA, you apply for a closed work permit.
