Sir kindly check my LMIA number (DD 514 637 392)
No one can check your LMIA based on the number alone. You have to post the full job offer.

It is almost certainly a scam.

hey, I have one-year exp in noc 2282 technical support but my CRS score is not high enough. I never worked in the food sector before but I found someone who is willing to go for LMIA as a shift supervisor.
Do I have to work for another 1 year to obtain 50 points or will be able to obtain 50 points as soon as my LMIA got approved?
I have open work permit till sept 2021

You can claim the 50 points immediately as long as it's a NOC B role.

If you don't have any experience in the food sector, it's possible you'll encounter issues with the PR application and IRCC may question why you are qualified for this role. It may be safer to work in this new job for six or so months before you claim the 50 points so that you can get ITA. You may want to consult with a lawyer on this. Also, you are posting to the wrong section of the forum. Post to the CEC section if you have additional questions.

They said it does not come in email or any other form u need to scan the barcode is that true? We are just worried to see if it is a true one or not

How did he find the employment? Was he required to pay any fees?

Bonjour, Scylla,
Can someone still claim 50 points if the job offer (lmia) is in lower noc than work exp noc?

Sure - as long as it's NOC A, B or 0. You'll also want it to be somehow related to what you've done or studied in the past.

Okay so let me just understand. If an accountant has been offered a job of a book keeper, then that is possible right? My specific query was: If the a noc 0 candidate can get a LMIA in NOC b, would that be possible? I know it is in 0 a b but still jumping from 0 to b is a huge. Considering the work is related and employer is ready, then would that be possible? I might have read somewhere and was not able to find that LMIA page again which mentioned that noc should be similar or something.

Bonjour, Scylla, ! Do you think you could just help a bit with some ircc page that talks about noc for LMIA. I mean if gov says you cannot have lmia in a lower or upper noc then it would clarify few further things as well. But if there is a chance for retrieving LMIA in any NOC 0 A B (as long as it is in the same field), then it would help us a little more. Any research or maybe some website which talks about NOC eligiblity in LMIA? Please.

I'm not aware of such a page.
