My sister has rejected her lMIA twice for book keeper through an employer last year in Sudbury. Now the same employer has applied again last week for accountant position with the hourly rate of $29 for her.
Questions:
time period to process high wage Lmia nowadays?
what are the chances of getting Lmia approved with an employer whose lmia has been rejected twice for my sister?

waiting for reply
thx

Good Morning All,

Pls I require some clarification, my potential employer has filed and received a Positive LMIA for me, this LMIA is however a Permenent Resident Stream.

I would like to know if I can use this LMIA to support a Work Permit application if I can, what class of work permit would it be.

Type of Employment: Indefinite/Permanent

I look forward to your responses and guidance

No. That is to support your EE application for the 50 points. Also I believe the employer didn’t have to pay a processing fee of $1k to apply.

Hi @Naturgrl my company is currently applying for the 2 years GSS LMIA work permit, once the approval is out can I add the LMIA to my EE profile to claim the 50 points before landing in Canada?

Is it LMIA exempt? If so how are you eligible? If LMIA exempt, you can't count the points.

@Naturgrl it is not LMIA exempt
Once you have an approved LMIA from your employer then you can use the points. Then you apply for a closed work permit if you want to work in Canada if you are waiting or will not get an ITA. If your score is around 480 you may get an invite whenever draws resume. Assume your employer is proving no Canadian or PR could be hired, only you.
