Hi
I came to Canada in 2016 December on study permit for Jan intake 2017. My program was for 2 years. But there was a problem with registrations.. so couldn’t get the courses which I have to choose must. So.. I left the study in Dec 2018. I explained everything to my employer and ready to give me LMIA. I applied for LMIA.. file number issued. All documents received by service canada on Apr 3, 2019.
My study permit is going to expire on July 31, 2019. So, I need help regarding how long usually this process takes time?
Any help would be appreciated!!

LMIAs typically take 2-4 months to process.

Did you change your status to visitor after you stopped attending school? IRCC will sometimes cancel study permits once a student has stopped attending school for more than 90 days.

No.. I called my lawyer, he said if you are having your study permit till July 31, there are 90 days in which we can apply for re-issuance of study permit. If your LMIA doesn’t approved by that time just give us a call by end of august

Your school should have reported that you were no longer attending school and cancelled your student permit after 90 days.

I haven’t reported at my school. Will there be any future issue regarding this?

It’s not about you reporting it is your school that would have reported you to the government for failing to attend school after December 2018 and should have cancelled your student permit. Whether they actually did it is unknown but they were supposed to do so.

This would only work if you were actually attending school.
