My canadian visa just got approved after 8 months , i was asked to send my passport is there any possibility that someone can send their passport and have it back with no sticker?

was it LMIA closed work permit?

There are cases where someone got their passports back not stamped with VISA (not sticker). But those are rare and won't happen unless your documentation is incorrect(e.g. photo specifications).
