Hello I have a question about the LMIA, thank you in advance for the help.

So I have an PGWP and a job offer, and i read if my employer gets a positive LMIA that supports PR I get the ITA for a PR automatically is that true?
so the next time the system pulls candidates out of the pool with the highest numbers
I would be be getting one as well just because my employer got the positive LMIA (regardless of my points)?

PLEASE HELP

No - this doesn't mean you'll get PR automatically. You still have to go through the entire application process. Also - you need to read up on the new rules released this week. LMIAs no longer get you as many points.

In 3 days, the system for points will change. You can read about it here :

Thank you for the quick reply, yes i am aware of the new rules, however no i did not mean you get PR automatically, i meant like when the system does send the invites, does the fact that my employer has a positive LMIA for me, does that mean that i will be selected for sure or not forsure due to points?
because this is what is said on the site (cic.gc.ca/english/hire/offers.asp)

"Express Entry candidates who have a job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from a Canadian employer will be invited to apply for permanent residence the next time the system draws applicants from the Express Entry pool."

That's outdated now. In the old system, people with LMIAs got 600 points which pretty much guarantees an invite. Now, LMIAs give you 50 points (or 200 if you job is in NOC 00). How many points do you have without LMIA?

Your information is outdated. Again, you need to familiarize yourself with the new rules.
