LMIA required for Work Permit Extension?

Can someone please tell me if i will need a LMIA for extending my work permit?

I currently have a 3 year open work permit which will expire next year. So can anyone please tell me the documents that will be required for the extension?

Also how many months/year can i get on the extended work permit? And is it possible to extend the work permit more than 1 time?

What kind of open work permit? PGWP? If so, then yes - you need an approved LMIA to extend. Yes - it's possible to extend more than once.

Yes i have a post graduate open work permit. So even though if i didn't need a LMIA to obtain my current job, i still need LMIA to extend my work permit?

Yes - that's right. You'll be switching over to a closed work permit tied to a specific employer - that's why an LMIA is required.
