Hi

So I just received news that my LMIA has been rejected for a couple of reasons:
1. The pay for operations manager wasn't exact enough ie.down to the cent and the processing officer wasn't happy with that. Even when asked can the pay scale be adjusted to meet her requirements that was refused, not trying to help out.
2. The job is a mobile catering service that doesn't have a fixed location for where I would be working. A address was put down for where work would be 9 times out 10 but didn't like that.

Tried to throw the application out on the basis that the job wasn't advertised properly but after listing the websites she retracted that statement.

Has anyone had this problem before? If so can I appeal or does the LMIA have to be sent in again fresh?

Thanks

On the site they say you cannot appeal a decision you can reapply at the extra cost.

Hi,

I have issue with my LMIA process.

I applied for LMIA under NOC 1223 on Jan 26th my employer got an email stating that the Job posting online is not meeting the requirement and asked us to submit additional documents regarding job posting..

I initially posted the job add on October 1st 2015 and applied for LMIA on Nov 2nd 2015 but they didn't process the application stating that documents are missing and requested the employer to increase the pay rate at this point file no was not generated. So we increased the pay rate and added the missing docs and reapplied on Jan 26th my employer got an email stating ob posting online is not meeting the requirement and asked us to submit additional documents regarding job posting..

My Question:

In this case the email was sent by service Canada to my employer but consultant replied to that email coping the employer. My consultant filled the representation for initially.
So is is an issue that my consultant responded to the question rather than employer.

Please advice

Where did you advertise the job?

We emailed the service canada rep yesterday, but do u recomment the employer to call service canada?
