Hi,

I on my pgwp and recently hired for a job in NOC B. Starting next week.
I was told by my consultant to work for a year and then I will have enough points for EE. (468)

But I checked my points with current IELTS result I got. (8,8,7,7.5)
If I can get a positive LMIA from my employer. I will still have enough points and won't have to wait for 1-year work experience.
My employer is ready to help me with LMIA.
This way I save around 6-7 months.

Does this make sense?

And anybody knows good immigration consultant in GTA??

Thank you!!

Yes - your employer can apply for an LMIA - although it's impossible for any of us to say if it will be approved. The first step will be to advertise the job for at least a month to prove no Canadian could be found for your role. The employer will have to make sure he follows the LMIA advertising requirements and advertise in the right number and types of places required (or the LMIA will be refused). Your employer will then need to submit the LMIA application for processing. Processing typically takes 2-4 months.

Perfect.

As I will be starting work from next week on my pgwp. Is that okay?
or I need to wait for LMIA result before starting to work?

If I can work while the LMIA is processed and it gets rejected after 3-5 months of processing. Can I count those 3-5 months of experience for my one year experience for EE?

Thank you!!
