LMIA processing escalation at 25 weeks, any experiences to share?

Hello,

I'm one of the unlucky souls who has been waiting in the LMIA processing limbo (7 months). I was recently made aware that after 25 weeks of no response the file can be escalated by the employer by calling Service Canada. My employer did so on Friday but I was wondering if any of you has had any experience with this escalation, if it worked and if so how long it took. Any information is appreciated.
