Hi, to keep this brief.
My boyfriend has a Post Graduate Work Permit which will expire this July 2015.
At this moment, he is applying for his LMIA. But by the time he sends it and everything will be done, his PGWP will expire. Also, his South Korean Passport will expire in December...Does he have to leave the country once his work permit is expired? Also...while we wait for the LMIA application results, can he use the "Bridge Program" (whatever it was called) ?
We've also been together for a couple years now...and we are not common-law or anything but i really do care about him...can we get anything through that? (I'm Canadian)
Thank you guys so much for the response...much appreciated...and I hope that all you guys get the results you want too. Best of Luck.

LMIA should have nothing to do with BOWP. Can't submit it without AOR from any PR program.

But he can change his status to visitor. That would buy him 6 months (?) more time to stay in Canada while waiting for result. Obviously he can't work while under visitor status.
