Hi guys,
I graduated from MBA program in Canada, now I'm on Post Grad Work Permit with unknown Employer Name and Location. Occupation on my Work Permit said OPEN. I'm currently working more than 1 years NOC 1311 with a local company. I try to answer the question Do you have a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment?
I would like to know does my employer need to have LMIA? or how does LMIA works for my situation?.
Here is the information that I found on CIC Website
Your employer must get a new LMIA if:
  • your work permit has expired
  • you’re working on an open work permit
  • you have a job offer from an employer not listed on your work permit
Thank you,

Thank you,
If you want to claim the 50 job offer points under Express Entry, then yes - your employer would need to obtain an approved LMIA.

So right now, you would have to answer no to that question.
