I am a LMIA exempts work permit and i just got married to a canadian citizen. My husband lives 3 hours away from me thats why he want me to move with him. So if i breach contract to stop working and will live with him and will apply for spousal visa, would there be a possibility that i can be deported? Because once i will stop working my employeer will inform the immigration that i breach the contract and possibly put my ROE with termination. Even though my husband can support me financially here but then again, i dont want to be deported because i will be losing my status here eventhough my working visa had 8 more months upon expiry.
What would be your best advice?

No, you won't be deported. You can remain in Canada legally as long as your work permit is valid even if you are no longer working for your employer. There is nothing to be concerned about.

So even my employeer reports to the immigration that i stop working and breaching the contract i can still stay? And would it jeopardize my spousal application?
First my husband really doesnt want my boss because he’s not “a good” boss. He yells to us and even tried to deduct on our salary about the skip the dishes problems but i dont want to complain coz it will be so much of a headache. So my concern now is bout my spousal application if i stop working and my boss will report me on breaching my contract

Yes, you can stay. You can't work for any other employer obviously unless you secure a new work permit. But you can legally remain in Canada as long as your work permit is valid. Your employer cannot cancel your work permit.

Coz LMIA rules are so strict

Yes, they are strict. The strict part is that you cannont work for another employer under your current work permit. That's really the only rule. But you are free to quit.

I see i see. Thank you so much. I just want to be sure that if we will apply for spousal it won’t jeopardize anything. Its ok i wont work unless i can have another work permit. Im just really concerned bout our new application and possibilities on deportation.

again thank you so much
